How long does it take?
Several factors influence the length of time IV hydrations takes. Like most procedures, individual history and genetics play a factor in how fast your body absorbs the bag. Beyond that, it also depends on the infusion rate, additives you choose (if any), and your overall health. Plan for about 1 hour from administration to completion.
Any downtime?
Nope! You are free to go back to your normal activities upon leaving HD Aesthetic Wellness. Because of this, IV Hydration is a great procedure to fit into your wellness routine with a busy schedule.
Does it hurt to remove the IV?
Removal of the IV is quick and generally painless - some patients experience minor bruising at the site on their arm but that is generally light and is influenced by genetics.
