What are
Hydrodermabrasion and Dermaplaning?
A hydrodermabrasion facial is a is a non-invasive skincare procedure that combines gentle exfoliation, deep cleansing, extraction, hydration, and infusion of serums all in one service. Hydrodermabrasion facials are recommended every 4-6 weeks.
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive procedure that shaves away the top layers of your skin along with vellus hair to increase product penetration. Timing of treatment may differ for each patient and depends on goals. Dermaplaning can be done as frequently as ever 2 weeks but is more typically done every 4-6 weeks.
Benefits of regular facial treatments include deep cleansing to improve pore health, exfoliation of dead skin cells, hydration and nourishment of the skin, improved circulation and lymphatic drainage, improved absorption of skincare products, and promotion of relaxation and stress relief. Removing impurities that daily cleaning may miss, both treats and prevents acne breakouts and overly-oily skin. Targeted use of topicals, applied to get deep into the skin, along with LED light therapy can improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles as well as combat sunspots, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration.
